Music for massage, spa & sleep

Massage music that disappears into the room.

Hours of relaxing instrumental music written for hands-on work: massage therapists, spa treatment rooms, yoga studios, sound baths and the hour before sleep. No vocals, no surprises, nothing that pulls a client back out of it.

Massage Jasmine — Weightless Suite

One hundred tracks, more than six hours, one continuous mood. The Weightless Suite is the piece of my catalogue that gets used most, and it exists because I kept hearing the same complaint from therapists: the relaxation playlists on streaming platforms are stitched together from a hundred different producers, so the volume jumps, a piano suddenly appears, and a client who was almost asleep opens their eyes.

This is the opposite. Every track is mine, mastered at the same loudness, in compatible keys, with tempos that sit between a slow breath and a resting heart rate. You press play at the start of an appointment and you do not touch it again.

  • 100 tracks · 6+ hours — a full working day without repeats.
  • No vocals, no lyrics — nothing for the mind to follow.
  • Consistent mastering — no volume jumps between tracks.
  • 1,400+ saves from therapists and listeners so far.

Massage Jasmine — Deep Sleep Suite

The night version. Same DNA, slowed down: lower tempos, longer fades, the high frequencies pulled back so nothing sparkles. I wrote it for evening treatments and for the people who told me they were using the Weightless Suite to fall asleep and wanted something even quieter.

It works for sleep, for insomnia, for winding down, and for the last appointment of the day when everyone in the building — including you — is running on empty.

How to use it

Setting up a treatment room, practically.

  1. Start the playlist before the client walks in. Silence that suddenly becomes music is a jolt. Music that was already there is just part of the room.
  2. Set the volume from the table, not the door. What sounds gentle standing up is often too loud lying down with your ear against a headrest.
  3. Turn shuffle off. The suites are sequenced so the energy drifts downward. Shuffling breaks the arc.
  4. Use a Premium account or download offline. An advert between tracks undoes forty minutes of work.
  5. Let it run past the end. The minutes after a treatment matter as much as the ones during it.

Which suite for which room?

  • Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage — Weightless Suite. It has enough warmth to carry firmer work.
  • Aromatherapy, facial, reiki, reflexology — Weightless Suite, volume low.
  • Evening appointments, pregnancy massage, sound baths — Deep Sleep Suite.
  • Sleep, insomnia, meditation at home — Deep Sleep Suite, on a timer.
  • Waiting area, reception, spa corridor — LOUNGE, which has a little more movement.

Why it sounds different

Written for a room, not for a chart.

Most relaxation music is made to be streamed: three minutes, a hook in the first ten seconds, something to catch a skipping listener. That is exactly wrong for a treatment room, where the goal is for nobody to notice a track ever started.

So the rules here are different. Long, slow arrivals instead of intros. Harmony that stays put rather than resolving dramatically. Almost no percussion, and where there is any, it sits under everything else. Reverb tails long enough that one piece hands over to the next without a seam. And a deliberate absence of the two things that break a massage: a recognisable melody and a human voice.

It is not background music by accident. It is foreground craft aimed at being invisible.

No permission needed

Use it. Wherever you like.

I do not send invoices and I do not ask anyone to fill in a form. Play my music in your treatment room, your salon, your bar, your yoga class, your video, your podcast, your live stream. The only thing I ask is that it comes from an official platform — stream it on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, YouTube Music or Tidal, or buy it on iTunes or Amazon Music. That is how the catalogue keeps growing, and it is all the payment I want.

  • No permission requests. As far as I am concerned, it is yours to play.
  • No cost. Streaming is free; buying it is optional and appreciated.
  • Credit is welcome, not required. A tag or a link helps more than you think.
  • Just keep it official — every play on a real platform counts, ripped files count for nothing.

Questions

Massage & spa music, answered

What is the best music for a massage?
Slow, instrumental, harmonically stable music with no vocals and no sudden dynamic changes. Tempo between roughly 50 and 70 beats per minute sits close to a resting heart rate, which is why it feels calming. Avoid tracks with recognisable melodies or lyrics — the brain starts following the story instead of letting go. Everything in the Massage Jasmine suites is built to those rules.
How long should massage music play?
Long enough that it never repeats during a session. A 60-minute treatment needs at least 75 minutes of music so nothing loops while a client is on the table. The Weightless Suite runs over six hours and the Deep Sleep Suite adds another 68 tracks, which covers a full working day of back-to-back appointments.
Is this music free to use in my spa or salon?
Yes. You have my permission, and you do not have to ask for it. Play it in your treatment rooms, your waiting area, your corridors, for as long as you like. The only condition is that it comes from an official platform — Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, YouTube Music, Tidal — or from a copy you bought on iTunes or Amazon Music. Every play there is what keeps me writing the next volume.
What is the difference between the Weightless Suite and the Deep Sleep Suite?
The Weightless Suite is daytime music: airy, warm, slightly brighter, made for treatment rooms. The Deep Sleep Suite is its night version — slower, darker, with longer fades and almost no high frequencies, written for evening treatments, sleep and insomnia.
Do I have to credit you?
It is welcome but not required. If you want to, a link to locuoriorecords.com or a tag on Instagram does more for an independent artist than most people realise — it is how the next therapist finds the music. But nobody has to.
Does relaxing music actually help during a massage?
Music does not replace the treatment, but it does shape it. Slow, predictable music helps people stop scanning their environment, which makes it easier to settle — and it masks corridor noise, footsteps and doors, which is often the real problem in a treatment room.

Free & takes one second

Save the suite. Your next client will notice.

Following on Spotify keeps the massage suites in your library and tells the platform to keep making them. It costs nothing and takes one second.

Videos, full-length sets and visualisers go up on YouTube — subscribing there costs nothing either.
