House music with the lights still low.

Warm, melodic, patient house and dance records from an Italian producer who spends the rest of his time writing ambient. It shows: the groove is there, but so is the space around it — and nobody has to ask permission to play any of it.

The house & dance singles

Four-to-the-floor with an Italian accent: beach-club energy, Italo melodies, and the odd bit of irony that a serious dance record would never allow itself. Every cover below opens the track on Spotify.

The sound

Four to the floor, but never in a hurry. I build house records the way I build ambient pieces — chord first, atmosphere second, drums last — which is why they tend to open slowly and then refuse to let go.

Expect deep, rounded bass, chords that actually move rather than sitting on one pad, and arrangements that leave room for a room. Some of it is written for the dancefloor; a good part of it is written for the two hours before the dancefloor, when a bar is filling up and the light outside is going orange.

If you programme sunset sets, aperitivo hours, terrace parties or beach clubs, that middle ground is exactly where this catalogue lives.

  • Deep & melodic house — harmony-led, not drop-led.
  • Italo and dance energy for golden hour and after it.
  • Chill house & downtempo where the night is still opening up.
  • Written, produced and mixed by one person, independently.

Where the beat slows down

LOUNGE — the same chords, fewer beats per minute.

The one playlist that belongs next to the house records: eighty tracks of lounge, chillout and downtempo for the hours either side of the dancefloor.

Italian roots

House, filtered through an Italian ear.

Italy gave dance music a specific instinct: melody is not a compromise. Italo, cosmic disco, the piano houses of the nineties — all of it started from a tune you could hum and then found a beat to put under it. That instinct is still the first thing I reach for. It is also why a track called 2006 (La Mia Hit) exists at all.

The other half comes from the ambient work. When you spend months making music designed not to be noticed, you become allergic to clutter. So the house records are arranged sparsely: fewer layers, more weight on each one, and silence used as an instrument rather than a mistake.

No permission needed

Use it. Wherever you like.

I do not send invoices and I do not ask anyone to fill in a form. Play my music in your treatment room, your salon, your bar, your yoga class, your video, your podcast, your live stream. The only thing I ask is that it comes from an official platform — stream it on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, YouTube Music or Tidal, or buy it on iTunes or Amazon Music. That is how the catalogue keeps growing, and it is all the payment I want.

  • No permission requests. As far as I am concerned, it is yours to play.
  • No cost. Streaming is free; buying it is optional and appreciated.
  • Credit is welcome, not required. A tag or a link helps more than you think.
  • Just keep it official — every play on a real platform counts, ripped files count for nothing.

Questions

Good to know

What kind of house music does Locuorio make?
Melodic and warm rather than hard: deep house, chill house and Italo-flavoured dance with a slow build, real chord movement and a low end you feel more than hear. Closer to a sunset terrace than a two-in-the-morning warehouse — and, on the vocal side, records that are not afraid of a hook or a joke.
Where can I listen to Locuorio's house tracks?
On Spotify, and on every other major streaming service through the single link hypeddit.com/locuorio. The singles below are the fastest way in; the LOUNGE playlist is where the downtempo end of the same catalogue lives.
Can I play these tracks in my bar, at a party or in a video?
Yes, and you do not have to ask. Play them wherever you like as long as the audio comes from an official platform — Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, YouTube Music, Tidal — or from a copy you bought on iTunes or Amazon Music. That is the only thing I care about.
Do you make music for DJs and radio?
Yes. Get in touch for promos, radio edits, extended mixes or remix stems. I work directly, without a label in between, so answers come fast.
